Students have been learning the importance of being respectful through our PBIS program. This is a video that Mr. Roberts, our principal, and some students from all grade levels put together on the topic of respect. These students have excellent ideas of what it means to treat people with respect!
This site includes a variety of postings including projects from my class, suggestions for supplemental resources, and other ideas or reflections on my life as a fourth grade teacher.

Student of the Week
Congratulations to our most recent students of the week, Jacie Sullivan and Ryan Naas. We have two students from our class who were elected this time. Jacie was honored as the 4F student of the week, and Ryan was awarded this honor by an at large vote from the entire Fieldcrest staff. Remember, students are awarded by being respectful, responsible, ready, and safe.

How Do You Remember Multiplication Facts?
On Friday in math class, students worked in groups to create a poster with multiplication facts and the creative ways they remember them. Then, students took a walk around the room to see the displayed posters which were created by each group. Once we combined the posters, we had a total of 22 challenging facts and the ways to remember them. Nice work fourth graders!
